Bret Christensen, who operates a mine southwest of Greenfield, was named the winner of the 2023 Oklahoma Department of Mines Safety Award. Christensen is affiliated with -C- Farms LLC and manages and operates the mine daily. It has been in production since 2008 and the output includes red select ag fines, used for everything from house pads to oil field soil farming. The mine also produces dolomite and anhydride rock used in driveways, roads and landscapes. Congratulations, Bret!
