Local Students Achieve Honors in Kansas Colleges

WICHITA, Kan. Wichita State University has announced the names of nearly 4,000 students who were on the WSU Dean's Honor Roll for fall 2025, including Daxton Swaim of Okeene.

To be on the dean's honor roll, a student must be enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) and earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

Also in Kansas, Patricio Macias of Watonga, was one of more than 700 Emporia State undergraduate students named to the university honor roll after the fall 2025 semester. Macias is majoring in business administration.

To qualify for the university honor roll, students earned a minimum 3.80 semester grade point average in at least 12 graded hours.
