I have worked in customer service most of my life. Working for 10 to 20 clients in my business I have learned to anticipate what they want done.

Our streets and dilapidated houses. I would like to work with the personnel in the city hall that makes the work order out.

See where we waste the most money and try to eliminate the waste.

I would put it toward getting water, sewer, and electrical up to today's standard.

The swimming pool, the people I grew up with, and how I can go anywhere in town and everyone knows me and everyone else.

Why are you running for the city council? What are things you hope to accomplish if elected?
I’m running for city council because I love our city. When you love something you step up, you fight for it, and you do whatever it takes to make it better. I am running for city council to serve the public interests, of what is in the interests of the overall community now and in the future. I am also not afraid to speak my mind or ask the tough questions that will be needed at the council table because I want to be the voice of the community. I would like to see our streets repaired, more businesses to open up in our city, and more affordable housing for our school staff.
What particular experiences or skills have prepared you to serve as a city council member?

Economic development to increase our city's wealth and standard of living. Look into ways to bring more businesses to the city.

If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why?
First, I would replace our old water towers. They are in desperate need of repair. Next, I would look into getting a grocery store here. I have heard our residents express a need to purchase fruits, vegetables, and a variety of meats that we do not offer now. Last, but definitely not least, our city streets are in desperate need of resurfacing
What are some of your favorite things about the town?
The way our residents come together when there is a need. I love how our elementary school principal and teachers have worked so hard to make sure our kids are getting an education despite this pandemic and unexpected changes in the weather. We have city workers that go above and beyond to make sure our residents are taken care of in good or bad weather.
Why should you be elected to the city council?
I have a determination to look at what's best for the community rather than what's best for a specific friend or neighbor. I will act as a representative, and an informed and responsible decision-maker in the interests of this community.
