A Friday afternoon accident in Blaine County injured an Oklahoma City woman.
According to a release from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Patricia Thompson, 67, was eastbound on east 660 Road east of Okeene when her Infiniti drifted off the roadway for unknown reasons. It traveled some 400 feet before striking a utility pole and rolling twice before coming to rest on its wheels.
The driver was flown via air ambulance to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where she was admitted in stable condition. The cause of the collision is under investigation. The report shows Thompson appeared in a normal state and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. OHP was assisted by Blaine County Sheriff’s office, the Hitchcock and Okeene fire departments and Okeene EMS.
