School Enrollment Guidelines

Watonga Elementary Enrollment

Enrollment for Watonga Elementary is ready to roll. To retain social distancing, enrollment is spread over four days. Students and parents are asked to come ton their specified days to keep the numbers even each day.

Students who are coming back for another year at Watonga will need an updated shot record and to fill out yearly enrollment forms. New students may enroll on the fourth day and will need two forms of proof of residency, birth certificate, shot record, Social Security card and Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood if applicable. Parents of Pre-K and kindergarten students who are already enrolled should come by and check phone numbers, addresses and after school plans for pickup and make any needed changes.

Enrollment is as follows:

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 11, students Pre-K through grade 5 whose last names begin A through F

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug.12, students Pre-K through grade 5 whose last names begin G through O

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug.13, students Pre-K through grade 5 whose last names begin P through Z

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug.14, students who are new to the school or who could not attend on their scheduled day.

Everyone is asked to please wear a mask when they come to register.

School will begin at 7:45 Aug. 27. Buildings will not be opened early and parents will not be allowed into the classroom on the first day of school. Principal Lori Graham said this decision was extremely difficult for teachers and staff, but all believe it is the safest option for everyone.

Watonga HS/MS Enrollment

Watonga Middle and High schools will hold in person and virtual enrollment Aug 11-13 in the commons area of the school.

Students will be able to pick up schedules, Chromebooks and pay fees. Students are asked to bring their physicals, be prepared to fill out forms and remain six feet apart.

The enrollment will take place according to this schedule:

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 11 Parents and students with last names that begin with A-H

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 12 Parents and students with last names that begin with I-O

8 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 13 Parents and students with last names that begin with P-Z

Geary Schools’ Enrollment

Although enrollment for Geary Schools has ended, parents may still contact the appropriate school to enroll their student. Enrollment packets must be turned in prior to the first day of school in order to place students in classes.
