Hi, everyone! Well, another week has passed, and it went by quickly. We made four trips to Norman to see our son after he was admitted to Norman Regional Hospital. He had some sort of spell a week ago while driving. They thought they’d had a stroke but after a week of doing every kind of test they could come up with, they released him with no diagnosis. They couldn’t find a reason to keep him, so they sent him home. We’re just praying it doesn’t happen again.
Otherwise, it’s been a rather quiet week. I missed most of the exercise classes. I plan to start over tomorrow. (I write my news on Sunday evening) Next Saturday night, March 25, we will be meeting again for food, music and games. We start at 6 p.m. so plan to come out and join us. Bring some kind of snack food to share with everyone.
On Sunday, March 26 the Masons are having a lunch fundraiser at the senior center. I’m not sure about the time, cost or menu, or other details. Check out their ad in the Republican.
Last week Curt and Brenda Stein carried our meals on two days. Others carrying meals were Pat, Janice and Vernon. We sure do appreciate all their time they give to this project and I know those receiving meals are glad to see them, even for a short visit.
Curt and Brenda Stein donated to the center last week. Thank you very much. And we really appreciate Andy Barrett. He picks up all our donated cans and takes them to the recycler to sell. Then he gives us a check for the sale of the cans. Thank you so much, Andy. We’re very happy you do that for us. He brought us a check last week.
Darla Brooks and Curt and Brenda Stein renewed their memberships with us last week. We’re really glad to have them as part of our group.
The ladies are making progress on the new quilt in the frame. It is so colorful. Come by and see it. There is also a pretty one hanging on the wall.
This is our menu for the next few days. Call us before 10 a.m. to have a meal delivered or before noon if you want to pick one up. We’ll get it ready for you.

Well, its getting late and I need to get to bed if I’m going to get up for exercise classes in the morning. It’s hard enough to get up even if I do go to bed early.
I hope you all have a great week. Take care of yourselves. ‘Til next week …
