Hi Everyone! Hope you had a great week. I hope you are all still well. People are still staying in a lot, at looks that way at the Center. Most of our meals are being carried out, with a few coming in to eat, but doing social distancing.
We are having good attendance at exercise, even picking up some new ones. We have a good time but it’s a workout. Please come and join us at 9 A.M. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You’ll enjoy it.
Elaine Compton and Gene Matli brought us more home grown Vegetables this week. Thank you Elaine and Gene.
Someone has been bringing us several large trash bags of cans, They will be recycled.
We didn’t have many in for the biscuits and gravy last week. I personally , overslept and forgot I could eat at the Center. I won’t do that again. Come try it. It’s very good.
The menu this week sounds good. But then everything’s always good. Anyway, it’ll be

Wednesday- Fried Chicken
Thursday- Bierox Casserole

Thank you to our meals on wheels deliverers last week. John and I even got to do it once.it is always nice to see all those who receive our meals. Other delivering were Teresa Bryant, Regina Glass and Janet Taylor, Brenda Stein and Janice Hood.
We were glad to have Betty Gauer and Estalene Teply renew their memberships last week! Thank you ladies.
It looks like we are getting a new roof on our building. We’ve had some damage and our insurance has approved a new roof. We will be looking into getting that done soon.
We received a really nice donation this week. I’m excited about it. It is a Christmas nativity scene patterned after little stuffed toys and animals. It is so cute. Joyce Lucas has been thinning out her collection and has been giving away a lot of sets. We’re delighted she decided to give one to the Center. Thank you Joyce.
Well that’s about all the news from the Center. I hope we all have a good week. Remember us when you get hungry or just come by for coffee and a visit. There’s always someone to talk to. John’s usually there on Tuesdays and Fridays after 9. Those are my work days. Anyways take care, stay well. Til next week…..
