Hi everybody! I hope you are all doing well. It’s been a nice week. This week looks like a busy one for me, with three doctors’ visits scheduled. And Saturday night we’ll be meeting at 6-9 p.m. for games and music. Come in and join the fun. Bring some kind of snack to share because we all like to eat.
In my article last week, I was so excited about how well our turkey and dressing dinner went that I forgot to thank a bunch of people. I can’t list names because I don’t know them all. But we couldn’t have had such a good, successful dinner without them. I’m talking about all those folks that volunteered to help with the dinner, the cooks that prepared the food, all those that provided desserts and those that came to serve. They are a great bunch of volunteers and I want to say thank you to each of them and I’m sorry I failed to say it last week.
This week’s quilters were Judy Curtin and Estalene Teply. They still have a good bit to do on the quilt they are working on. If you like to quilt or would like to learn, come in on Thursday morning around 9. They’ll be glad to see you.
Vernon and Susan Brickman renewed their membership with us. We are so glad to have them as part of the group. John Diamond donated to the center last week. Thank you for thinking of us, John.
My husband John and I went to the center last week to have liver and onions on Thursday and fried chicken on Friday. It was all so good! You should try their meals, they are really good.
Last week Sharon Barnes delivered meals on two days, with Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman delivering the other days. Thanks to all of you.
