Hi, everyone! Hi, everybody! I hope you’ve had a good week. Mine was good until Friday which I spent at Watonga Mercy Hospital. Then they sent me by ambulance to OKC to Integris Hospital, where I am writing this news. I’m not sure when I’ll go home, hopefully today or tomorrow.
I’m told Janice is decorating the center for Christmas. She is a good decorator and did a great job with the Thanksgiving decorations. I’m sure she’ll have the center looking very elegant soon. Come by to see for yourself.
Speaking of holidays, check out our menu for Friday , December 8. It’s going to be turkey and dressing. I sure hope I’m home by then, that’s one of my favorite meals. The cook requests that call-in orders for meals to go be made by 11 a.m. She would appreciate your cooperation.
I hear there’s a new quilt hanging on the north wall. It was made by Margaret Stangle. I don’t know what it looks like, I hope to see it on Friday.
Quilters last week were Judy Curtin and Estalene Teply. They could sure use some help on the quilt they are working on. I know there are other quilters in Watonga. Please consider helping with this project. I know they would appreciate your help.
Connie George donated in memory of Louis Hood. Thank you very much, Connie.
Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman delivered meals last week, and Sharon Barnes delivered two days. Thanks to all of you.
