EWS
Hi, everyone! I hope you enjoyed your holiday. My Monday was quiet, I did laundry and forgot to write my news. I made a quick trip to the center to get the menu for Thursday and Friday and next week. Came back home and forgot to write it until John reminded me.
I want to thank Joyce Rogers for the okra she donated. I am sure it was enjoyed.
More memorial donations have been made. John and Sharon Gates in honor of Freda Hausner and Carla Livingston. Yvonne Christensen donated in memory of Ruth Ann Swaim and Lyle Lowe. Richard and Sandra Hightower donated in memory of Freda Hausner.
Coming up at the center are the Mason’s breakfast from 7-10 a.m. on Saturday, September 14 and that evening we’ll get together for games, food and music.
The Cheyenne Quilt Guild will meet from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, September 21 for a sew-in at the center. The club’s regular meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 23. A new quilt belonging to Margaret Parham will go into the frame this week.
