All Watonga Eagle fans need to come to the center to see the beautiful red, black and white Eagle quilt hanging . It was made in 2004 by Gene Matli and gifted to Mary May, in memory of her husband, Mike May, former superintendent of Watonga Schools. The quilt is truly a work of art, and we are grateful that Mary is sharing it with us.
Our hand-quilters this week were Louise Cooper, Martha White and Estalene Teply. They are making a star quilt into a beauty!
On Thursday- Saturday, August Aug 28-30, the Friends of the Library of Watonga will hold a book sale at the library. It is a great opportunity to get bargains on gently read books. Join them and stock up on fall reads.
Come join us at the Watonga Senior Citizens Center!
