Hi Everybody! Hope you’re all ready for Turkey. I am. Actually my favorite thing is stuffing and gravy. Thanksgiving is when I get to eat mincemeat pie. I love it. I share it with my son-in-law. No one else likes it. That suits us.

Thangs have been quiet at the Center. Mostly just folks picking up meals to go. Had a few come in for exercise. That’s about it. With Carona numbers picking up in Blaine County people are just staying away. I pray for all our people everyday.

We had a couple of ladies renew their memberships. Delores Fry and Volamae Marks renewed theirs. Thanks ladies.

We had several memorial donations come in. Delores Trumbley, Valamae marks, Basil and Danna Taylor and john and Sharon Gates made donations in memory of J.C. Howry. Yvonne Christensen made a donation in memory of Georgia Hinkle, Lynda Swann and Tommy Davis. We appreciate all these gifts.

On Monday we needed someone to carry our Meals on Wheels lunches. Andy Barrett volunteered to help us out. We sure appreciated it. Others delivering meals last week were Tracy Walker, Janice Hood And Vernon Brickman and Mary Brown and Karen Dugger. We offer a big thank you to them all.

We are still needing a volunteer Director beginning in January. I usually work on Tuesday and Friday. WE have other volunteers that work the other three days. It’s not hard. I mostly work form 9 to 1:30. Call if you are interested.

Here’s our menu for the next few days.

Thursday and Friday — closed for Thanksgiving

Monday- Breaded Pork Loin

Tuesday — BBQ Sausage

Wednesday — Chicken Fried Steak

Thursday — Breaded Chicken Breast

Friday — Indian Tacos

Wow- its December Already

You Know what that means!

Well, That’s about all my news for now. If you come in the Center we expect you to wear a mask and social distance. We cant be to careful right now. In the meantime, take care stay safe. Til next week....Happy Thanksgiving!
