SENIOR CENTER NEWS

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve had a good week. I worked at the Center one day last week to see if I could handle it. It went ok but I was wore out when I finished.

Things are going well at the Center. Dorothy Jameson is our new Director and I think she’s going to do well.

The quilt ladies gave up on the extra large quilt that had been sent for quilting by Christy Kaiser. They could not fit it in the frame, so they are returning it to her with their regrets. They have put in a quilt for Martha White. It is very pretty and it looks like the quilting shouldn’t be difficult.

Those that delivered our Meals on Wheels last week were D’von Poulson, Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux, Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Vernon Brickman. Thanks to all of You!

Kathryn Diamond brought in Best Choice labels for us. We thank you Kathryn.

A donation was received from Terri Crawford in Memory of J.C. Howry, Janette Eichling, Penny Baker and Jim Pierce. We appreciate your memorial donation Terri!

Our Menu for the next week looks really good. If you need a meal delivered because you cant get out , call us at 623-4511 before 10 AM. If you want to pick one up, call before noon. We’ll get it ready when you want it.

Monday - Chili and Vegetable soup

Tuesday – Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Wednesday – Breaded Chicken Breast

Thursday – Goulash Friday – Roast Beef

Friday – Roast Beef (Birthday Dinners)

I hope you are all well, staying safe as much as you can. I don’t know when this illness will ever go away. And I hear its hard to get an appointment for the vaccine shots. Just do the best you can to stay safe and Pray.
