SENIOR CENTER NEWS

Hi Everyone! I hope you’ve survived all the snow and cold weather. It was something I don’t want to go through again anytime soon. I’m wondering what our spring is going to be like. I guess we’ll face whatever comes along.

As you probably know the center was closed all last week. Monday we were closed for Presidents’ Day. Then the water pipes froze and no cooking could be done. Then we didn’t want to send our deliveries out on the ice to possibly fall and get injured. We regret not being able to get meals out to those that need them. We’ll get started again this week.

Our menu for the next several days is as follows:

Thursday- Breaded Pork Loin

Friday- Roast Beef (Birthday dinner)

Monday- Chili and Vegetable Soup

Tuesday- BarBQ Sausage

Wednesday- Breaded Chicken Breast

Thursday (Mar. 4th)- Chicken Casserole

Friday(Mar.5th)- Indian Tacos

Call 623-4511 for a meal to be delivered or for a meal to go. We’ll get it ready when you want it. Or feel free to come in to eat around 11:45. There’ll be someone to eat with. Maybe I’ll have more news next week. I sure hope so. In the meantime, Please be careful outside. Take care of yourselves and be safe. Till next week…
