SENIOR CENTER NEWS

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a good week. Things were fairly quite around my house. John sold four of the six puppies so it’s a lot quitter. We still have to two left and he may keep both of them. Well see how it goes. They sure are cute and fun to watch. Our donations this week were best choice bar codes from Judy Curtain, cans from Margie Smith, and a monetary donation from the Cheyenne Quilting Guild. We thank you all for your donations. Some of the ladies have been doing some quilting on the quilt in the frame. They are Estalene Teply, Gene Matli, Maida Kerr, Martha White, Jennie Castleberry and Judy Curtin. They are making nice progress on it. We are grateful to all those that delivered meals last week. They are so faithful and dependable. We really appreciate them. They were Regina Glass and Karen Dugger on Monday, Mary Brown and Karen Dugger on Tuesday, Curt and Brenda Stein on Wednesday, Janice Hood on Thursday and Vernon Brickman on Friday. Our menu for the next few days is listed below. Call us before 10 if you need it delivered. Our number 623- 4511. If you want to pick on or more up, call before noon. Well have it ready whenever you want it. You can come in to eat after 11:30 except on Wednesday we eat at 11. Kiwanis Club come in at noon to meet so, we try to be cleared out by then. Thursday- Breaded Chicken Breast

Friday- Roast Beef (Birthday Dinner)

Monday- Chili and Vegetable soup

Tuesday- Chicken or Tuna Salad Sandwiches and Chips

Wednesday- Ham and Sweet Potatoes

Thursday ( April 1st)- Breaded Pork Loin

Friday (April 2nd)- Indian Tacos

I hope you all have a great week ahead. Its finally time to get outside and do some clean-up and some planting. I looked at plants on Saturday and found some pretty ones. I’m gonna have to get busy. Everybody take care, be safe, and stay well. So far no reaction to my second covid shot. It’ll be two weeks on Wednesday , the 24th. We’ll see what happens between now and then. Til next week….
