Hey again everyone! I hope your week has been going well so far. Things are pretty quiet at the Center. If it wasn’t for the cooks and those carrying out Meals on Wheels, we wouldn’t have any excitement at all. We see a few people when they pick up their meals to go. Sometimes we take it out to their car and sometimes they come inside the door. Anyway, it is good to see them and know they are doing ok.

Ȧt our house John has been busy doing his hydroponic gardening. It’s a pretty interesting set-up, growing plants in water instead of soil We’ll see how it all turns out. When he’s not gardening, he’s fishing. He’s had some really good days at Canton lake.

It was good to see Curtis Stein back to help with Meals on Wheels. He’s been under the weather recently so Brenda has been delivering meals alone. Others delivering this week were Regina Glass and Janet Taylor, Janice Hood, Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux and one day Peggy delivered meals with help from some other ‘family kids’. We appreciate all of them.

Delores Trumbley renewed her membership this week. We’re glad to have her. She helps out at the Center when she can.

These are the meals the cooks have planned for us; Thursday—Chicken Spaghetti

Thursday—Chicken Spaghetti Friday—Fish

Friday—Fish

Monday—Closed for Memorial Day

Tuesday—Chicken Strips

Wednesday—Breaded Chicken Breast

Give us a call at 623-4511 and we’ll have it ready when you come to pick it up.

I hope you all have a great week. Sounds like it might be a hot and stormy one. Stay in, stay well. Till next week……
