Hi everyone! Wow!! Its already the end of July. School will be starting before long. These are the ones that made our Meals on Wheels deliveries last week. We sure do appreciate them. Mary Brown and Karen Dugger delivered two days. Others delivering were Brenda and Curt Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Brickman. We had several donations last week. We really appreciate the fresh garden vegetables. Janice Hood brought in squash, Kenneth Brewer brought in tomatoes, and Janet and Chub Edsall brought in a mixture of vegetables from their garden. None of these vegetables went to waste. Everybody took what they wanted. Loretta Grove brough in Best Choice bar codes. Linda Barrett and Lori Osmus made monetary donations. We are so grateful for all these donations. It helps out a lot of people. Thank you! Carol McCrary made a donation in memory of Darrel Elmore and Jack Swinney.

Thank You, Carol. Tim and Judy Curtin, Delores Trumbley, and Patt Curtin all renewed their membership. Thanks to all of you. We had no one into quilt on Thursday. I guess everyone was busy doing other things. If you’d like to quilt or learn to quilt come in on Thursday morning. There’s usually someone to help you. The quilters we have do a beautiful job. Our sock Hop plans are coming along. We are very excited to have Date Wehba coming to be our D.J. Remember when he and Ronnie Kaye used to come out once in awhile to DJ a dance on Saturday night. It’ll be great to hear that 50’s and 60’s music again. Even if you don’t want to dance come and listed to the music. The Sock Hop will be at City Hall from 7 to 10 P.M on August 7th. Admittance will be $5. Come join in the fun.

Last Saturday was our music and games night at the center. We had 34 people come in. We all had a great time had a couple of new folks come. Well meet again on august 14th from 6 to 9. Come in and join in the fun. Peggy is arranging for the bus to go to Weatherford on August 6th for a jamboree there. They plan to go a little early to stop for supper at Braums. If you would like to go call the center at 623-4511 to get your name on the list. Senior citizens members get first priority for seats on the bus.

We are planning to make a shopping trip to Yukon but I don’t have a date yet. Ill let you know.

Here’s our menu for the next week. Call us for orders to go or for meals to be delivered by Meals on Wheels. Call before 10 for delivery and before noon for meals to go.
