Hi everyone! I hope your week was good. It seemed to pass really fast. I know you are all looking forward to thanksgiving. I can almost smell those wonderful traditional dishes. My favorites are turkey, dressing and gravy. My family are all meeting in OKC for thanksgiving lunch. Were not sure where yet, but probably Golden Corral. It’ll be fun wherever we go. These are the ones who carried our meals on wheels lunches last week. Pat Brewer, Sharon Barnes and Karen Dugger, Curt and Brenda Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Brickman. We are so thankful for all these folks. John Roper brought in peppers and green tomatoes from his dad’s (Bill) garden. Thank you so much John, We received several dozen fresh eggs from an anonymous doner. We are very glad to receive the eggs. They’ll certainly be used. Memorial donations were received from Curt and Brenda Stein for Bill Roper, from John and Sharon Gates for Bill Roper and Mina Green, and from Volamae Marks for Nadine and Delbert Pearson. We really do appreciate these memorial gifts. Delores Fry and Volamae Marks renewed their memberships, and were so glad the did. They’re good friends to the center. I’m told we only had one quilter in last week and it was Gene Matli. We’ll be a long time getting the quilt out at this rate. Come on in and help us out. We have a new quilt hanging it was done by Judy Curtin. It is done in pretty fall colors. Come on by and see it and stop to visit for a while. Here is our menu for the next few days.
