Hi everybody! I hope you are all doing well.

Those weather men did it to me again last week. Those 2" of snow were almost gone before any hit the ground. One again I closed the center on Friday because of projected snowfall and possible ice only to find it was not bad at all. I'm really sorry for those expecting a meal to be delivered on Friday. I hope our snow and ice days are over for this year.

There's not much news from the center for last week. Those that delivered meals for us were Susan Shrader and D'Von Poulson, Mary Brown and Karen Dugger, Brenda and Curt Stein, and Janice Hood. Thanks to all of you for your help.

Saturday night we had 20 people come in for music and games. Sounds like they all had a good time. Our next night to get together will be on Saturday, March 26th. We'll be meeting from 6 to 9 p.m. so plan to come join us.

Don't forget next Friday, the 18th, the nurses will be in to check blood pressures and blood sugars. Come in between 10:30 and noon to get tested. It's free and no appointment is needed. You do not have to be a member of Senior Citizens to be tested

İ don't know if any quilters came in or not. I do know they have a new quilt in the frame that they are working on.

Here is the menu for the next few days. Call before 10 to have a meal delivered. Call before noon to order meals to be picked up. 623-4511.

Thursday: Liver and Onions

Friday: Fried Chicken

Monday: Breaded Pork Loin

Tuesday: Chicken Spaghetti

Wednesday: Kiwanis meets, we eat at 11 a.m.

Thursday (March 24): Ham and Beans

Friday (March 25): Roast Beef

And don't forget we have biscuits and sausage gravy on Thursday mornings, starting at 8 a.m. It's very good!

Well, I think that's about it for this week. I hope you have a good week. Take care, stay safe, stay well. Til next week...
