Hi Everyone! I hope you all had a great 4th of July. Ours was pretty quiet, at least until the fireworks began. They were being set off everywhere. They are always so pretty to watch/Anyway, it was great to celebrate another year of freedom in America. We should all be thankful for our freedom and that we live in this wonderful country.

We are now wearing masks regularly at the Center except when we are eating or drinking. We ask that anyone coming in even for exercise, please bring your mask.

Until things settle down again around the Watonga area, we will not be taking trips on the bus or meeting on Saturday Nights. We hope to be able to do all that again very soon.

We have found a place that will take our cans now, so you can continue to bring them in. We’ll get them to these good people. If you can crush them before you bring them that would be great. If not, we’ll still take them.

We had some new volunteers to help with our Meals on Wheels deliveries tis week. They were Joe and Teresa Bryan along with Curt and Brenda Stein, Regina Glass and Janet Taylor, Jona Arthur and Libby Wigington and Janice Hood. Thank you all for helping us out with this program.

We had squash donated this week by Dorene Flaming and Beverly McPherson. We always appreciate fresh vegetables. Thank you.

We received memorial donations in memory of Patsy Davis from Charlie and Laurel Poarch and Elaine and Monte Compton. Yvonne Christenson made a donation in memory of Patsy Davis and Margaret Lowe. We really appreciate receiving these donations.

Ruth and Leroy Lage renewed their memberships this week. Thank you Ruth and Leroy.

We didn’t get much of a turnout for our biscuits and gravy on Thursday. We’ll try it again this next Thursday, Hopefully we’ll get a better response.

We are still running about 14 for exercise. We would sure like to have you join us. We have plenty of room to do social distancing. But bring your mask.
