Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good week. Things are kinda quiet around the Center. It will liven up quite a bit on Saturday night, April 9th. That's when we'll be having music and games again. We'll meet from 6 p.m. to 9, so come in and join us for some fun and games.

We're working on plans for our chicken noodle dinner on the 22nd. We'll also be having a cake auction, so if you would like to donate a cake for the auction let us know. We would sure appreciate it. We just don't have the members we used to have, so it's harder to get a fundraiser organized.

Next week the nurses will be back on Friday, the 15th, to do blood tests and blood pressure tests. They come in around 10:30 and stay until about noon. Drop in to be tested. No appointment is needed.

The quilting ladies came in on Thursday to work on the quilt in the frame. It was Estalene Teply, Naida Kerr, Gene Matli, and Judy Curtin. There's still a lot of work remaining on it. Come in and help them with it. They meet on Thursdays after biscuits and gravy.

Our meal carriers last week were Pat Brewer, Mary Brown and Karen Dugger, Brenda and Curt Stein, Janice Hood, and Vernon Brickman. We're so thankful for all these volunteers.

Best Choice labels were donated by Carol Ridenhour. Thank you Carol! Judy Curtin made a donation to the Center. Thank you Judy!

We are still accepting aluminum cans for recycling. If you have a lot just drop them off at our back door. They'll be picked up and taken to a recycling place. We would appreciate your donation.

The exercise group is still going strong. They're averaging about 18 each time they meet. They meet at 9 a.m. each Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for about 1 hour. Come on in and join them. They would be glad to see you.

Here are the meals we'll be having for the next few days. Give us a call before 10 a.m. to have a meal delivered if you can't get out to pick it up. Call before noon to get a meal to go. Our number is 623-4511.

Thursday: Sausage and Sauerkraut

Friday: Ham and Sweet Potatoes

Monday: Vegetable Soup and Chili

Tuesday: BBQ Ribs

Wednesday: Kiwanis meets,

We eat at 11 a.m.

Thursday (April 14): Goulash

Friday (April 15): Fried Chicken

And we have biscuits and sausage gravy on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. It's always good.

Well, I hope you have a good week planned ahead of you. I hope we get a chance for some good rain at least one day. We'll see. Seems like it always goes around us.

Take care of yourselves. Stay safe and stay well. Til next week...
