Hi everybody! Well, another week has come and gone. They go by so fast any more. Here it is almost the end of June already. We'll be shoveling snow before you know it.

I hope you had a good week. It's gonna be a scorcher this week I think.

Last Saturday night we had 23 come in for games and music. We had a good time, as always, and had plenty of good food to eat. We'll meet again on June 25 so plan to come and join us.

The regular group of quilters came in last Thursday and worked on the quilt. I've been told they may get it finished up this week. Then they'll be putting another one in the frames. There's always one ready to be quilted

Ḣoward Hursh donated fresh eggs last week. Thanks a lot Howard. We appreciate them. We also had a large cooking pot donated by Ralph and Diane Sheehan. They are new to Watonga having moved here recently from Wyoming. We're glad to have them in the community and they are frequent visitors to the Center for lunch. Thank you all for the nice big cookpot.

We had some different ones deliver meals last week. Volunteers were D'Von Poulson and Susan Shrader, Sharon Barnes, Brenda and Curt Stein, and Teresa and Joe Bryan delivered two days. Thanks to all of you for helping us with this project.

Thursday we'll be having biscuits and gravy at 8 a.m. Friday we'll have local nurses in to check blood pressure and blood sugar at 10:30 to noon.

Here's our menu for the next few days. Check it out and come join us.

Thursday: Liver and Onions Friday: Fried Chicken Monday: Chili Dogs Tuesday: Ham and Beans Wednesday: Kiwanis meets at noon; We eat at 11 a.m.

Thursday (June 23): Chicken Casserole Friday (June 24): Roast Beef That's about it for this week. I hope you are all doing well and managing to stay cool. It's too hot to be outdoors, except for maybe early in the morning.

Take care. Stay well. Til next week...
