Hi everyone! I hope you’ve had a good week. What a rain we had last Friday. Had some really bad leaks at the Center again. I hope those roofers get out here real soon to repair our roof.

After last week’s mix-up with the newspaper, I thought I’d list the menu for the next week first. That way you’ll be sure to get it.

Thursday-- Bar B Que Pork

Friday—Fried Chicken

Monday—Sandwiches and Soup

Tuesday—Tuna Casserole

Wednesday—Roast Pork

Thursday-- Liver and Onions and Chicken Nuggets

It all sounds good to me. I’m not sure what kind of soup it will be on Monday. Give us a call on Monday and we’ll let you know.

We had a lot of zucchini squash donated to us last week from Monte and Elaine Compton and Beverly McPherson. We really appreciate these donations.

We received more monetary donations in memory of friends we’ve lost. The Sunshine Club sent a donation in memory of Corene Kerr. BJ Webb sent one in memory of Don Teply and Patsy Davis and Delores Fry sent one in memory of Patsy Davis. Thank you so much for these gifts.

Myra Lee Smith paid her membership dues. Thank you Myra Lee.

Angel Home Health from Clinton visited us last Friday and provided blood pressure and blood sugar checks. We really appreciate them offering to come and check us out. They plan to be coming the second Friday of each month.

We had a few more folks come in for biscuits and gravy on Thursday. We even did some take out orders. And I’m supposed to let you know it’s ready at 8 am, not 8:30. Come in or give us a call, we will fix it for you.

Our Meals on Wheels deliverers were D’Von Poulson, Brenda Stein, Janice Hood and Peggy Franks and Wayne Maddux. Thank you all for your help with this project.

Well, there wasn’t a lot going on this week. We exercised and ate and that was about it. Come by and check us out, but bring a mask. Take Care. Til next week ...
