Hi Everyone! Well another week has gone by. Sure seems like time is going by faster and faster . Here it is almost the end of July already.

We had a pretty good week at the center. We had several come in for exercise. Had a few for biscuits and gravy, including a couple of take-outs. It was really good.

Tim and Norita Curtain and Betty Chapman all renewed their memberships. Thank you all for joining us again.

Remember, we ARE taking cans again. We have someone Who will take them to by recycled. We hate to see them just thrown away. Leave them at the back door and we will find them.

Our meals for the coming week all sound good to me. Call us before 10 a.m. for delivery and by noon for pick-up. We eat at noon each day but Wednesday when Kiwanis comes and we eat at 11 A.M. Our number is 623-4511.

Thursday- Liver and Onions and Chicken Nuggets (Some People just don’t like liver, can you believe that?)

Friday- Chicken Fried Steak

Monday- Goulash

Tuesday- Swiss Steak

Wednesday- Meatloaf

Thursday- Beaded Pork

Friday the 31st we’ll have a birthday dinner of roast beef. Mark your Calendar.

We received a lot of fresh vegetables this week. Alvin and Anita Woodruff And Gene Matli brought in Cucumbers, Janet Edsall Brought in all kinds of vegetables from her Garden. Keith and Shannon Sattler brought in four mock Apple Pies for lunch one day. They were actually made with Zucchini squash. Everyone liked them. They might make us some more later. Thanks to Keith and Shannon for the pies and Alvin, Anita Gene and Janet for the vegetables. We enjoyed it all.

We received a donation from Betty Chapman in memory of Don and Edna Justice, Aniebel Stevenson, Don Teply and Patsey Davis. Thank You, Betty.

As hot as it has been, our faithful meals on wheels deliverers kept showing up. It was Regina Glass and Janet Taylor, Brenda Stein, Jona Arthur and Janice Hood. We are so Thankful for these ladies and their dedication.

I hope you all have a good week. Stay safe.

If you have to go out, wear that mask.

It’ll only be for a little while.

Til next week…

Thank you,
