OKLAHOMA CITY —Following several successful regional conferences launched earlier this year, Launch Rural OK, an initiative funded by the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST), has announced it is relaunching the Oklahoma Small Business Conference in the Northwest Oklahoma region from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on October 27, at Northwest Technology Center in Alva.
In partnership with the Northwest Technology Center and other program partners, Launch Rural Oklahoma seeks to expand access to critical resources and practical training for rural Oklahoma entrepreneurs. The Northwest Oklahoma Small Business Conference offers small business owners and small-town entrepreneurs a no-cost, one-day event packed with tools, strategies and connections to fuel rural business growth in the region.
“This conference is about giving local businesses the strategies and functional support they need to succeed,” said Amarie Bartel, rural economic development coordinator with Oklahoma Farm Bureau. “We are bringing together top experts, proven tools and a strong network, all in one place.”
The Northwest Oklahoma Small Business Conference is designed to equip business owners, whether just getting started or already established in their communities, with practical tools and expert insights to help business owners bolster business and discover new opportunities in today’s fast-changing marketplace.
Conference attendees will leave the conference with: emerging insights in artificial intelligence business owners can use to increase efficiency and boost creativity; simple, practical marketing tools to build or expand their brands and appeal to new customers; tips for identifying and reaching ideal customers in new business markets; and direct access to experts and resource partners in the state that can support business owners during and after the conference.
