As of November 23, there were 177,874 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus in the state, up by 3,544 in the last 24 hours according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health. There were fifteen deaths reported in the last day. This brings the death toll to 1,649.

In Blaine County, according to emergency management officials, there are 71 active cases and have had two deaths reported. There are 8 cases in Canton; 16 cases in Geary; 3 case in Longdale; 16 cases in Okeene, one in Hitchcock and 30 in Watonga. The cases are noted by zip code, so those ill may not live inside the city limits, just in the vicinity.

There are 12,246,849 cases cumulative reported nationally, up 158,439 since the last numbers were released by Johns Hopkins University. There have been 256,782 deaths, up 921 since last report. Active cases in the U.S. tally at 7,463,554 up 160,705 while recoveries stand at 5,526,513, down 3,187 since the last report was made.
