State Passes 199,000 Cases

Death Toll Exceeds 1,750

As of December 1, there were 199,482 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus in the state, up by 1,737 in the last 24 hours according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health. There were fifteen deaths reported in the last day. This brings the death toll to 1,758.

In Blaine County, according to emergency management officials, there are 86 active cases and have had two deaths reported. There are 16 cases in Canton; 18 cases in Geary; 10 case in Longdale; 16 cases in Okeene, two in Hitchcock and 23 in Watonga. The cases are noted by zip code, so those ill may not live inside the city limits, just in the vicinity. There are 13,541,221 cases cumulative reported

There are 13,541,221 cases cumulative reported nationally, up 157,901 since the last numbers were released by Johns Hopkins University. There have been 268,045 deaths, up 1,172 since last report. Active cases in the U.S. tally at 8,126,857 up 75,440 while recoveries stand at 5,146,319, up 81,289 since the last report was made.
