OKLAHOMA — Statewide election activity officially begins at 8 a.m., Wednesday April 13, 2022, when the filing period opens, the Secretary of the Blaine County Election Board said today.
Candidates for state offices file with the Secretary of the State Election Board. Candidates for county offices file with the Secretary of the County Election Board.
Blaine County Election Board Secretary Brenda Rice said the following offices are expected to be filled this year:
• Blaine County Assessor
• Blaine County Treasurer
• County Commissioners for both #1 and #3 Districts
Filing forms and information may be obtained by contacting the Blaine County Election Board at 580-623-5518 or blainecounty@elections.ol.gov. The Blaine County Election Board is located at 212 N Weigle, Watonga, OK and is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Filing packets for both state and county offices are also available for download on the State Election Board’s website at oklahoma.gov/elections.
The filing period closes at 5 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2022.
