The electronic sign at the Liberty Theater is one step closer to the vision of the Watonga Community Theatre group. April 28 it began flashing pictures and messages. According to Patt Curtin, a group member, there is still much to be done before the work on the sign is finished, including lighting up the 'Liberty' letters, adding end caps and other lights.
"But we are making good progress," she said. Curtin and other members of the theatre group intend to visit Main Street after dark to see the lit up sign in full glory.
