Veterans Waste, the garbage collection contractor for the City of Watonga, is still working on its collection routes since changing to twice a week pickup in town. Previously, there were pickups at least four days per week, but with new equipment, the company was able to accomplish the routes in two days instead.
The routes have been tweaked again, with the break now at Sixth Street.
Those households north of Sixth will be picked up on Tuesdays, while those south of Sixth will be picked up on Friday.
