WATONGA – The Watonga Republican and Geary Star Twitter accounts are now active again after not being used for several years.
Locals can follow the Watonga Republican @WatongaNews and The Geary Star @TheGearyStar.
The Watonga account has nearly 400 followers but had not been used since June 2019. The Geary Star’s Twitter account has only 22 followers and had not been updated since July 2018.
The Watonga and Geary papers were combined in 2020 but continue to maintain separate Facebook and Twitter profiles. Those Facebook accounts can be found @watonganews, @WatongaSports, @GearyStar and @GearyStarSports.
The papers’ Twitter accounts will be updated frequently with news large and small from across Blaine County and beyond. They will be maintained primarily by editor Graham Dudley, who can also be followed on Twitter @GrahamLDudley.
