According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a Watonga resident, Aidyn Garcia, 18, was uninjured in the accident at Cleo Springs.
The other driver, identified as Patricia Ann Hise, 78, of Cleo Springs, failed to yield at the intersection of EO400 Road and Oklahoma 8 two miles north of the town of Cleo Springs.
Hise was pronounced dead at the scene by Fairview EMS.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The report shows each driver was in a normal condition and wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
The OHP was assisted by Major County Sheriff’s office, Fairview EMS and Fairview Fire Department. The road was dry and clear and no citations were issued.
