Once again there will be a community Christmas dinner at the Blaine County Fairgrounds.
This year it will again be drive through only. Gates will open at noon on Christmas Day. This is a departure from other years when the gates opened earlier.
When a vehicle enters the grounds, it is greeted by a volunteer who determines how many meals are needed. That volunteer then transmits the number to the indoor staff, who place the correct number in a bag or box and the volunteer delivers it to the auto. The car then can exit the fairgrounds.
Volunteers are very welcome and donations are being accepted at Bank7.
Expect a full holiday meal with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, green bean casserole, a roll and homemade desserts.
This is one of the best holiday traditions in Blaine County, so volunteer, donate or come on out for a great meal and fewer dishes to wash.
