Redlands Issues Fall Honor Rolls

Redlands Community College recently announced students named to the college’s honor rolls for the Fall 2024 semester.Students listed on the President’s Honor Roll have completed 12 or more credit hours and have earned a GPA of not less than 3.

Paul Ameen was all-state as both a wrestler and a football player.He was a three-time Geary champion and remembers all three years being hosted by the Bode family. Paul has been President of the Northeastern Oklahoma Wrestling Officials Association for the past 33 years.

The City of Geary isn’t sure centralized emergency dispatch is working for them anymore.The malfunction became apparent when multiple fights broke out at Geary High School the day before Christmas break.There had been some trouble the night before outside a home basketball game with Binger-Oney.

Recently I heard Mr. Hilterbran, Superintendent of Watonga Schools say, “I am working to make Watonga Schools the best in the state”. That set me to thinking. Why not make Watonga, and Blaine County for that matter, the best in the state? Or as the president elect says: “Make America Great Again”.
