SENIOR CENTER NEWS

Body
Hi everybody! Another week has passed already. The weeks get shorter and shorter. We had a great time last Saturday night at the center with 25 people in attendance. The music wat great and the food was delicious. The fellowship was terrific. Plan to come in and join in the fun on Saturday, September 10th. We start gathering about 5:30. There was a good group of quilters that met last Thursday. It was Jennie Castleberry, Naida Kerr, Estalene Teply, Gene Matli, and Judy Curtin. There was plenty of visiting going on as well as quilting. We had several donations last week. Tosha Sinclair donated a lot of fresh vegetables for everyone to take home, Sandy Maddux brought in Best Choice UPC labels, and Judy O’Neal, from Eagle City, brought in fabric for the quilters to use. A big THANK YOU to all these ladies for thinking of us. We also received a donation from Yvonne Christensen in memory of Dick Ramer. Thank you, Yvonne! We have our regular group of deliverers come in last week to deliver out meals. Were so thankful for all of them. Remember, we’ll be closed next Monday for Labor Day. Our cooks deserve a day off. They do a great job for us. Here’s our menu for the days ahead. Call us ahead for meals to be delivered or picked up. And remember, starting Thursday, September 1st, the cost goes to $7.00.
