The Definition of Insanity Is Me

Albert Einstein once said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I can argue that I'm the quintessential poster girl for the definition of insanity. My most recent example is that frequently I will get the notion to clean out my craft closet that is fuller than Fibber McGee's by tossing everything out into the middle of the floor, sorting a few things to give away or throw away and end up throwing everything back into the closet because I'm too tired to finish thereby making it look worse than it did when I started. This happens every stinkin' time. Not this time, by golly. No, this time I'm bound and determined to do something besides stuff it all back. (I know what you're thinking.)

Nationwide Anti-Robocall Task Force Announced

OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma Attorney General John O’Connor today announced that Oklahoma is joining a nationwide Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force of 50 attorneys general to investigate and take legal action against the telecommunications companies responsible for allowing illegal foreign robocalls into the United States. This bipartisan nationwide Task Force has one goal: to reduce illegal robocalls. The Task Force will focus on shutting down the providers that profit from this illegal scam traffic and refuse to take steps to mitigate scam calls.

With a new school year on the horizon, it’s worth looking at some of the new laws that will impact education across the state. The start of the 2022-23 school year marks the implementation of a change to the school funding formula passed by the Legislature in 2021.
