OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma Attorney General John O’Connor today announced that Oklahoma is joining a nationwide Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force of 50 attorneys general to investigate and take legal action against the telecommunications companies responsible for allowing illegal foreign robocalls into the United States. This bipartisan nationwide Task Force has one goal: to reduce illegal robocalls. The Task Force will focus on shutting down the providers that profit from this illegal scam traffic and refuse to take steps to mitigate scam calls.

The deadline to request absentee ballots by mail is approaching. Applications must be received by your local County Election Board no later than 5 p.m.

Sample ballots are now available for the August 23, 2022 Election. Voters can download a sample ballot using the State Election Board’s OK Voter Portal at oklahoma.gov/elections/ovp or pick up a copy at the Blaine County Election Board during normal business hours.

With a new school year on the horizon, it’s worth looking at some of the new laws that will impact education across the state. The start of the 2022-23 school year marks the implementation of a change to the school funding formula passed by the Legislature in 2021.
