Seventh grade students at Watonga Middle School took part Tuesday in a mock election. Each student would approach the ‘poll workers’ and show their ID. Then they were given a mock ballot and sent to the voting booths. Along the way they were coached about the rules, such as not talking about who they were going to or had voted for inside the polling place.

Voting Tuesday was steady all day with times of longer than average waits to get to the booth in Watonga. Early voting was heavy as well, with poll workers saying the foot traffic was also steady-to-hevy in spite of an added day to early vote.
Oklahoma Goes for Trump; Rest of the Nation Follows Suit
