Greenfield Alumni Yard Sale

Although the citywide garage sale has passed, the Greenfield Alumni Association is jumping on the bandwagon. That group will hold its sale from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on June 7 and from 8-noon on June 8 at the Memories of Greenfield building on Russworm Avenue between Wheeler Bros. and the Watonga Motel.

Don't get me wrong. I like softball as well as the next Nana. Just not when it interferes with EVERYTHING. (I'm referring to college ball.) We got hooked on softball when our granddaughters started playing before they even started school.

The new and improved playground at Hillcrest Park was dedicated May 23 during a community coffee at the park. The equipment was purchased by the city to rejuvenate the facility, which had fallen on hard times and was not user friendly.

Jennifer Haigler is a candidate for Blaine County Clerk. She has lived here her entire life and is a graduate of Canton High School.Haigler is the incumbent and has been the county clerk since 2016. She began working in the office part time in 2010.
