I think I may have learned my lesson. Or maybe not. Who knows? With the skyrocketing prices of groceries and everything else at the big box store, I got the impulse to break my habit of always buying name-brand products.

In April, the Ferguson Feature, as part of Alcohol Awareness Month, examined the impact of the Fergusons on the control of alcohol in Oklahoma Territory, the “Dry Bones Law” promoted by the son of T.B.
Last year the Watonga airport was hopping with planes coming in so that the pilots and passengers could have a nice breakfast. This year’s flyin, isscheduled for May 8-10 a.m. May 25. Everyone is welcome to the event, whether they fly, walk, bike, drive or skatboard to the airport.

There will be a fly-in and free breakfast on May 25 at the Watonga airport. For those who are unfamiliar with the term, a flyin invites pilots from all over to come and land at a particular airport and familiarize themselves with it and the area or revisit a favorite location.

A new agreement between the Langston University School of Nursing and Health Professions and Redlands Community College will allow graduates of Redlands’ nursing program to more easily obtain a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) from Langston University.
