Get ready to laugh and have fun with Watonga Community Theatre in its upcoming show Rex’s Exes. Under the direction of Patt Ward Curtin, this deliriously funny Southern- fried farce finds the Verdeen cousins Gaynelle, Peaches and Jimmie Wyvette, played by Amy Adams, Kim Coney and Arianna Parkinson, teetering on the brink of disaster again.

When the Watonga School District met April 8 in regular session, the first order of business was to swear in the newest old board member. Aaron Clewell was seated by acclamation as he was unopposed and was duly sworn in.

Candidate filing was completed Friday for county elections in Oklahoma. All filings are listed alphabetically.

Bobby Stitt, administrator for three Mercy hospitals in Oklahoma, was recently named to Becker’s Hospital Review 2024 Rural CEOs to Know list. He is one of only two rural CEOs in the state of Oklahoma and the only rural hospital administrator at Mercy to make this list.

Cleaning when one has a short attention span makes keeping up with necessary housekeeping rather complicated. I tend to start one job, get distracted and find myself in another room, starting another job that'll probably get half done before I move on.
