Matli, Hicks, Campos Unseated

In the Oklahoma Primary election, Tracy Matli was defeated in his bid to retain his seat as Blaine County Commissioner District #3 with 280 votes as compared to challenger Thad Shenk’s 354.In Blaine County District #1, incumbent Darryl Hicks was unseated by challenger Chad Scheihing.

Watonga City Budget

When the City of Watonga met on Monday in special session, the budget was the topic of the day.The proposed budget placed before the council was fundamentally different than those in the past in that the capital outlay carried with it explanations of where the allocations were to come from.
