Scams Target Indigenous Peoples

American Indians and Alaska Natives report experiencing a wide range of financial scams, with older adults being particularly vulnerable, according to new AARPsponsored research. The research included focus groups and individual interviews in Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Oklahoma, and Vermont.

Derelict Lot Plagues County

A derelict property at the corner of Wikoff and Tenth Avenue is becoming a thorn in the side of the Blaine County Commission. The property, at 1021 N. Wikoff, came to the county through delinquent property taxes. Although in the city, it is inside the county’s District # 3.
