EWS Hi, everyone. I’m sorry I didn’t have a column last week. There was just no way I could get one written. I’d been so sick that I couldn’t do anything, I was that weak. I’m still very weak and can’t go for very long or walk very far without having to sit down.

Wedding Bells Are Ringing

Wedding bells rang out all across the land (or at least in our little part of it) last weekend for our granddaughter, Mica's, nuptials. She married her best friend since high school, Bryson. Not too many couples get the chance to do that. Anyway, how can this be?

Ferguson Features

Last week, I wrote about Tom Shartel Ferguson (Trad), the younger son of TB and Elva Ferguson, who served in WW1 and succumbed to the great influenza outbreak of 1919 at age 29. What I have learned since is that before the war, he was editor of the Shattuck Republican in western Oklahoma.
