Law Day Winners

The City of Watonga entered into a contract Tuesday night with the Oklahoma Water Resourcs Board for a loan for $14 million for construction of drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities.

City Council bailed off into the watery depths of infrastructure improvements and construction Monday night at its regular meeting. Most of the information with numbers attached was handled under the Watonga Public Works Authority meeting, which immediately follows the city council meeting.

Warrant Issued for Former Geary Coach

An arrest warrant has been issued for a former Geary coach. According to a probable cause affidavit from Caddo County, Hinton High School coach Jacob Peck is suspected of child abuse.

Jimie-Wray and Karla Mead are moving back to Hinton to work with the Church of Christ there. Mead graduated with a degree in Bible Studies at Oklahoma Christian University in 1991 and a Masters Degree in Bible Studies/Family Life Ministry in 2000.
