OKLA. – Better Business Bureau Serving Central Oklahoma is advising Oklahomans to be cautious before sending personal information for potential employment. In October of 2022, BBB noticed complaints for a business claiming to offer employment for a shipping specialist.

Ex- Wrestling Coach Jailed in Arkansas

Geary High isn’t the only school in the county dealing with the misdeeds of a former coach. Colton Looper, who served as the Watonga wrestling coach in 2019, was arrested Sept. 1, 2022 in Rogers, Ark., and charged with first degree sexual assault.

Corn Bible Celebrates Old Tradition in New Location

While this year will celebrate the 59th annual German feast and auction to support the Corn Bible Academy, this will be the first year it is held at the new campus. The event will take place April 1 at 22387 E. 1070 Road in Clinton.

On Friday, March 17, Watonga celebrated TB Ferguson Day on the anniversary of TB Ferguson’s birthday. Members of the Friends of the Ferguson Home, family members and city officials gathered at the Watonga Library to celebrate this important day.
