Certified Healthy Awardees Announced for Northwest/Central Oklahoma

ENID, Okla. – The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) announced on April 25th, awardees for Certified Healthy Oklahoma, a public health initiative launched in 2003 to recognize businesses and organizations that implement best practices and policies that support improved health and wellness.

Walleye Rodeo Returns to Canton this Weekend

CANTON – Canton Lake’s biggest annual event is returning this weekend, as fishermen from throughout the region will descend on Blaine County hoping to snag the largest walleye and win the grand prize. The Canton Lake Walleye Rodeo begins Thursday, May 12, and wraps up on Sunday, May 15.

Watonga High School students increased their composite ACT scores by 1.7 points between fall and spring, the school said Monday, improving in every subject area.
