WATONGA – Much of the city of Watonga lost power overnight Thursday and into Friday, social media activity showed, leaving residents confused as to what the problem might be. Thursday featured none of the stormy, windy weather generally associated with power outages in the area.

WATONGA – The Watonga Regional Airport will be closed for several months this winter while its runway is reconstructed with funds from a federal grant. The Watonga Public Works Authority voted last Tuesday, Aug. 17, to accept a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration for the runway work.

BLAINE COUNTY - The Blaine County 4-H Achievement Banquet was held on Sunday, August 15th afternoon at the Blaine County Fairgrounds. 4-H Members who summitted 4-H Record Books were awarded for their efforts this year.
