City of Watonga Changes to Municipal Government

On June 11, 2019 the Citizens of Watonga voted to approve the transition in the form of government, from an aldermanic form of government to a council- manager form of government. Since then, the current City Council has worked to prepare for this transition.

Blaine Co. Students Make President’s Honor Roll

Herb Little was born March 8, 1933. He went to be with his Savior on Friday, January 1, 2021. Visitation: Geary Turner Funeral Home Thursday, January 7, 2021, 1:00 PM -9:00 PM and Friday, January 8, 2021, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. A Celebration of Herb’s life will be held at a later date.

SENIOR CENTER NEWS

Hi Everyone! I’m Finally able to spread the news from the Senior Citizens Center again. I’ve had quite a month. Received a second stent in the heart on December 8th. On the 12th the Covid got to me and I spent five days in Watonga Hospital.
