Once again there will be a community Christmas dinner at the Blaine County Fairgrounds.This year it will again be drive through only. Gates will open at noon on Christmas Day. This is a departure from other years when the gates opened earlier.

Ferguson Features

The Friends of the Ferguson want to thank everyone for their support last week. On Thursday (Dec. 4), the Plains Collective (Cheyenne and Arapaho) provided educational programs at the Ferguson Home. The home was often used for educational purposes.

By Brenda SteinThe holiday spirit has really come to Watonga. Friday night was the tree-lighting ceremony at Centennial Park, with wagon rides to the Ferguson Chapel and Ferguson Home. Then Saturday morning, children had Breakfast with Santa at the Noble House Bed and Breakfast.

Hydro FFA Happenings

Day 1 of the National FFA Convention was a great day. Skyler Sturgeon and Brooklyn Bailey accepted an award on behalf of the Hydro-Eakly FFA after being named National 2Star Gold Emblem Chapter.

County Home to Grand Champion, FFA Champion at 2025 Oklahoma Jr Wheat Show

Autumn Schultz from the Okeene 4-H Club was named Grand Champion, showcasing her Doublestop CL Plus variety, placing first in milling and production.
