Oklahoma City, Okla.– The people of Oklahoma Oil & Natural Gas continued their commitment to supporting education this summer by providing 374 teachers from school districts across the state with more than $185,000 worth of classroom supplies, equipment, and hands-on activities.

SWOSU Music Academy Fall Enrollment Open

The Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Department of Music is excited to announce that the SWOSU Music Academy is now open for enrollment, offering a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages and skill levels to explore, develop, and grow their passion for music. The enrollment deadline is on Friday, September 1, with classes beginning the week of September 11 and concluding with a final concert on Sunday, November 19.

The Extra Help program assists qualified Medicare beneficiaries with out-of-pocket expenses associated with Medicare Part D prescription drug expenses. You also won't have to pay a Part D late enrollment penalty while you get Extra Help.

It is almost time for those big yellow school buses to hit the road and highways. The national safety council suggests it is never more important for drivers to slow down and pay attention than when kids are present, especially before and after school. The combination of kids in a hurry, parents trying to drop kids off before they head to work themselves can be a recipe for tragedy.
